You've got a lot to learn...

If you want people to take your art seriously, or you want to seriously create art, you really need to learn the fundamentals of art.
There are so many flaws in this that it would suffice to say that it is bad, but that doesn't mean that you can't get better.
Look around for some way to learn how to begin creating better art, be it on the internet, a book(or fifty), or someone you know who has signifigant art knowledge. You have to be an apprentice before you can be a master!

Encyclopedic articles are great!

What I would suggest are more visuals with more viewpoints, to allow the reader to see every facet and construct a better image of the subject.
Another good addition would be some sort of scale reference in some form.

This is good stuff, I would love to see more and more of these :o

There is no scale to reference; as spirits, they don't have a set size or shape. They usually are around the same size as an adult human though (as the masks they wear are those that people would wear).
I agree that I could make use of more images in conjunction with my pictures. I'm thinking I'll do some more encyclopedia articles in the future (as this is already my second.) Thanks for the advice, Dalenbourg.

I like your use of space in this portrait, it really depicts the man as the force he was. Although, perhaps he could have been in his pajamas...

I can imagine she's efficient in purging the unholy...
Nice backstory, and the armor looks really classy and believable.

Overall this checks out, but there are a few problem areas.
the fabric doesnt flow as properly around her crotch as it does everywhere else. I cant sense much mass.
Im not to sure on the armor texture, but that could just be the shading. the shadows would make the character stand out much more and look much better if they were implemented fully.
i'd check the left arm too, the foreshortening looks a little off.

Wicked effects.

The colour is amazing looking and such, but dont forget to get anatomical proportions correct and all... I looked too deep into the orange and blue contrast and saw a multitude of errors and such, especially with the kid.

The coloring itself is sort of unfinished it appears, but still far better than anything i've ever coloured in my life... the obscuration of forms due to it is the only problem i have about it...

Don't get too engrossed in your newfound adoring mass, you still have far to improve...

I started to make studies of people in real life in my sketchbook some time ago. It already improved my anatomy (I started at zero basicly).

Looks great, the colouring is well done, I don't know how you are able to do it digitally so well.

The problem with this in my opinion is that there are too many monotone walls of colour. The sky behind the wispy wind (which i like) looks flat, like its a wall and not a sky.

Nevertheless, the fact that you are able to improve from piece to piece proves that you are constantly learning and gaining strength as an artist, something I've only managed to do sporadically.

I think the reason my coloring/painting has this effect that people like that I don't seem to think much of (you're not the first to mention it) is the program I'm working in. Most do photoshop; I do Painter. Painter mimics real paint, and has loads of preset brushes with different textures and color properties to be able to give the effect of different kinds of paint. It's more suited to doing this kind of stuff. I also spent a lot of time on trying to get it to look smooth, and I think the color palette really just came naturally as I progressed.
I see what you mean with the sky, and I have to agree; it's terrible! Skies are a bit tough, and I didn't know what to aim for as far as diversifying it. I ended up going with the wind, but that really isn't enough.
